Kansas Rocks Recreation Park (KRRP) proves that the Midwest has serious off-road muscle. Covering more than 380 acres of rugged terrain, this park offers everything from rocky climbs and muddy challenges to scenic trails winding through forest and prairie.

It’s a destination built by off-roaders, for off-roaders — where Jeeps, side-by-sides, dirt bikes, and 4x4s all come to play. Whether you’re testing your rig on a technical obstacle or exploring a quiet wooded loop with the family, Kansas Rocks delivers adventure on every trail.

Trails & Terrain

Kansas Rocks OHV Park features a diverse mix of terrain that keeps every ride exciting.

  • Trail Mileage: Over 45 miles of mapped routes

  • Difficulty Levels: Rated from easy to extreme so every skill level can find the perfect ride

  • Terrain: Rock ledges, wooded climbs, tight switchbacks, mud holes, and scenic ridge runs

Trail Highlights:

  • The Pothole: A true test of traction and nerve — deep rocks and ruts that challenge even built rigs.

  • Timber Ridge: Twisting forest trails that are perfect for side-by-sides and ATVs.

  • Rocks and Hard Places: Named for a reason — technical rock gardens for crawlers and lifted Jeeps.

  • The Flats: Easier terrain for families, first-time off-roaders, and relaxed exploring.

Each trail is clearly marked, making it easy to mix fun and challenge without getting lost.
